The second edition of World Hoopers Open Championship will be held 4-7 September 2025 at the Campo Sportivo Comunale "Torrani" in Golasecca (VA), in the northern lake district of Italy.
To make sure that after the successful edition of WHOC 2024 all requirements and expectations would be met for WHOC 2025, it was decided to make this change in location and date.
WHOC 2025 will be run on natural grass at a venue with on-site parking, also for motorhomes. Camping Gabbiano is just 3km down the road, other accommodations are in the vincinity.
A novelty for WHOC 2025 is the Nation Team Championship.
Each nation can enter one team for each height category for the title of WHOC World Champion TEAM Small and WHOC World Champion TEAM Large.
After the good feedback on the extra 'unofficial' round in 2024, there will be an International Open Hooper Cup in 2025, Participation is open for everybody, not only for members of the WHOC National Teams.

WHOC
World Hoopers Open Chanmpionship (WHOC) is born from an idea of Alfonso Sabbatini, who is the legal owner of the name, acronym, logo, concept, framework, definitions, rules & regulations and everything related to it.
The mission is to provide a framework for the ultimate in hoopers competition, showcasing the highest level human/canine partnership, sportsmanship, and athleticism; and enabling all dogs, whether pedigreed or not, to compete in an environment that is focused on the sport of hoopers.
WHOC will be an annual event with the aim to be hosted by orgnisers in a different country each year
Nations can send their teams to participate.
Entry for teams from each country must come from only one national team leader. The national team leader wishing to seek recognition to bring its team to WHOC 2025 should contact us at
info@whoc.dog
The national team manager is responsible for writing a document that explains how people in the country can become members
of the WHOC national team. Each country’s team selection process must be non-discriminatory with regard to both handlers and dogs,
and must be approved by the WHOC organising committee.
If your country is not represented yet, you can participate is individual too
